Grasp me tight and never let go ;

Sweet Dream

Was it sugar which my soul deprived?
The dish was set at half past five.
His tuneless song had me revived,
"It was not too far a drive."

He glanced at me from streetlight's bay,
As if questioning if he may.
I asked the moon what could I say,
We've just had quite the day.

Our laughter blurred with chasing race,
I blushed once as I caught his gaze.
He smiled, "And this shall be the place,"
He set my heart ablaze.

"The water's warm," he said to me,
A chuckle whispered quietly.
His outstretched hand was all I'd see,
I'd fallen too easily.

He danced the pans in paces well,
With a smile like molten caramel.
"Could you handle?" but I could tell,
He'll catch me if I fell.

Cubes of these and slices of those,
Perhaps a petal of that rose.
And as I watched I felt time froze,
I'm glad he'd held me close.

A timeless peace the time should bring,
But at last the oven screams and rings.
An evening's work of joy to sing,
Dreams taking flight on wings.

"You flatter me," he laughed and said,
And dodge the whipped cream past his head.
With chuckles rich like red wine thread,
My shaking hands he led.

Sweetest, overflowing past the brim,
In a perfect strawberry shortcake dream.
Topped with an innocent vanilla ice-cream,
For us I'd sing in hymn.

Only you can silence that experience trickster in me ;

Game & Setting Y

Thought of posting this on facebook at first, but I've decided I shouldn't flood my Note space :D

So this is a temporary holding site for my latest poem/story/random works until another new one comes out! :3

I relocate all my poems to another private blog, so don't worry :D

. ~ . ~ . ~ . ~ .

My stories can be found here at my FanFiction.net page, and this is the link for my private poem blog, though I doubt you'd want to crack it :3

Having said,
hope you'll enjoy reading! (:

. ~ . ~ . ~ . ~ .

If you're wondering about the layout, I was just lazy to change it.
Having said, this layout works best on a 1280 x 800 resolution.

Thanks & Again Y
